Haven't touched your dock since Labor Day weekend? That's normal for those of us who live in colder climates. We, unfortunately, can't boat all year around. Now that spring is right around the corner, it's time to get your dock ready for some good times on the lake.
Make Sure Your Dock is Level
Making sure your dock is level after the winter season is very important. Check to make sure your dock is level and doesn't need any adjusting.
Check Your Floats
If you have a floating dock, be sure to check to make sure all the floats are floating properly.
Decking
Does all your decking appear in good shape? Check to make sure there aren't any that need screwed on or any pieces that may need to be replaced.
Accessories
If you have any accessories on your dock, ensure they are all securely attached to your dock.
Your Boat Lift
If you have a boat lift, it's important to make sure your lift seems to be working properly.
Cleaning
Has it been a while since you gave your dock a good clean? Get out the power washer and give it a good spray down.
