Tricks To Clean Your Ladder

The algae build up on your ladder can be a bit of a pain. We want to make sure your ladder is clean, slippery free, and ready for the Summer ahead. We, too, once felt we tried everything under the sun to get the ladder on our dock looking brand new again. Power-washing your ladder is always an option, but there is also an easier trick to cleaning your ladder with baking soda. Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda and start by adding 2 tablespoons of water until the baking soda mixture looks like a paste. Once you have the perfect mixture, apply it to your ladder and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Next take a scrubby-brush and scrub while the paste is still on the ladder. You should begin to see the algae go away. Now your ladder should look good as new and be safe for those children and grandchildren with tiny feet.
