Tesla was one of the first to show us that electric engines are the way of the future. Now, Vision Marine is showing us that electric engines on boats are another way of the future.
Vision Marine Technologies showed up at Lake of the Ozarks in August 2021 for the largest unsanctioned boat race in the country. Vision knew this would have people turning heads. They got to show off their new electric boat and draw attention to boat manufacturers and future customers.

The boat race gave Vision the opportunity to show off their E-Motion 180E on their Bruce 22 boat model. It can get to surprisingly fast speeds, and it is able to do this with its propulsion system that runs on a battery and is propelled by the Bruce 22.
Most people did not know about Vision's tech until this race. But, Vision has actually been building electric boat engines for more than a quarter-century, since 1995. Obviously, those years of innovation are surely paying off.
Vision's next step is to get manufacturers on board. They've already caught manufacturers from IBEX's attention in Miami, which got them to the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show Oct. 27-31.
It’s only a matter of time before you or your neighbor owns a boat with an electric motor!
