Safety Tips for Labor Day Weekend at the Lake

It's hard to believe that Labor Day Weekend is in less than a week, that's right - the last vacation of summer! This summer sure has flown by, hasn't it? Labor Day weekend is typically full of many festivities, so this Labor Day weekend be sure to take in all of these safety tips to ensure a safe holiday weekend!

Swimming Safety

• Never swim alone. Always swim with a buoy so boats can see you.

• Always check the weather before going for a swim.

• Never leave children unattended.

Boating Safety

• Always have life vests for everyone on board.

• Watch the weather, weather on the water can take a turn quickly.

• Know what's going on around you at all times.

• Never boat under the influence.

Grilling Safety

• Keep children and pets away from an open flame.

• Ensure the grill is in an area with good ventilation and away from trees, bushes, the house etc.
