Do You Need Load Guides for Your Boat Lift?

Parking your boat isn't always a breeze, especially if you're a new driver, it's windy outside or the water is choppy.

Load guides are the perfect "boat parking helper"! Here's why you may want to invest in some and a few guide options.

Keep Your Boat/Lift Free of Damage

Even the best boat drivers can struggle parking their boat. Boat lift guides help protect your boat from bumps, scratches, etc. They'll put your mind at ease when you go to park your boat on a choppy day.

Spring Loaded Foam Guides

Spring loaded foam guides are a great option if you're looking to save some money. They are foam and covered by canvas so if your boat ever hits one, you won't have to worry about scratches.

Carpeted Guides

Carpeted guides are the most common type of boat lift guide. They are aluminum, mount directly onto your boat lift and have carpet on the side closest to your boat. These also help you when getting in/out of your boat as they can be used as a step.

PVC Guide Rails

PVC guide rails are another option that works great. They typically have aluminum frame construction and are covered in maintenance-free PVC.

Not sure which guides to choose? Feel free to ask your local boat lift dealer what they think may be best for your lift and boat setup!
